Club history - The club has been going a number of years at least since the 1950 this is when the Committee Cup was first presented, (it is now the Inter championship trophy). The club  was originally called the Hyde MCC but as all the organisers came from the Macclesfield area the name was changed around the late 70s to Macclesfield and Hyde MCC. Yet another name change occurred about 10 years ago when the club dropped the Hyde name completely and became the Macclesfield Trials Club. The club run 6 Sunday trials a year, one of which is the John MacDonald Road trial and 4 Saturday night trials. There is a club meeting normally on the first Tuesday of each month in the George and Dragon Pub Macclesfield. The club would like to thank Kelcoat trials bike ltd for sponsoring there 2005-06  club championship ( run on all private ground Sunday trials)  and also  Yoomee products for sponsoring there Saturday evening trials series
